North Allegheny Snaps Defending Champs Win Streak In Battle of Western Pennsylvania Powers

Upper St. Clair, Pennsylvania's defending 4A champ, not only saw it's 19 game win streak go down the drained, but also suffered its worst home defeat at home Thursday night losing to North Allegheny 43-19.

North Allegheny used a punishing ground attack, amassing 307-yards on the ground, with two backs, Karl DeCiantis and Alex Papson, topping the century mark.

Last year, Upper St. Clair beat N-A twice on the way to the 4A state championship. Pennsylvania's longest active win streak now belongs to Wilson Area High School at 19.
