Pics From The Purple Pit At East Stroudsburg South High School

East Stroudsburg South High School is one of my all-time favorite high school football fields. It's located in the heart of the Pocono Mountains and thanks to the school's Purple and White colors, the field is affectionately known as The Purple Pit. Check-out the purple bell in the final photo that is rung every time the Cavaliers score.

George Curry New Head Football Coach At Wyoming Valley West

It will be interesting to see if you can teach a dog new tricks....or in this case an old dawg a new trick.

George Curry is the new head coach at Wyoming Valley West, after a long, drawn out search that started when the school board decided to open the job formerly held by Ed Michaels for eight years. Curry resigned as the head man at Berwick after 35-years and 362-wins and a record six state championships.

The High School Football Huddle Looking For Pictures

One of the great things about high school football are the wide array of venues. They range from the multi-million dollar stadiums in Texas to the smallest of small in Alaska.

I am always excited to see a new stadium on my trips around the country and want to feature pictures of your favorite stadium on The High School Football Huddle.

About is one of my favorite places to watch a high school football game....Cottingham Stadium in Easton, Pennsylvania.

If you have pictures of your favorite stadium, please send them to highschoolfootballhuddle@yahoo.com and I'll post them on my site.
