Easton Tops #2 Parkland

Easton field goal kicker Ian Heck was 0-for-3 on the season when he was called on at the end of the Red Rovers playoff game against undefeated Parkland.

At stake? A berth in next week's District 2-4-11 championship game.

Heck, was cool, calm and collected as he banged home a 36-yards field goal with two seconds left in the game to give Easton a 17-15 win on the Trojans' home turf.

What's more incredible is what will happen to Easton over the next seven days when it will play three games including last night's, Thursday's against hated, and unbeaten rival Phillipsburg and then turn around Saturday and play the winner of today's game between Liberty and Abington Heights in the state tournament. Liberty is the only team to have beaten Easton this year.
