Pennsylvania and Ohio All-Stars Square-Off In Big 33 Game

The Big 33 game will be renewed for the 49th time in Hershey tonight. The game, which features the best from Pennsylvania versus the best from Ohio, is one of the best in the nation with a player from the game appearing in every Super Bowl that has ever been played.

Ohio brings a three game win streak into tonight's match-up. It could also be the last between the two states because Big 33 officials moved the game up by about a month to accomodate Division I schools that wanted to enroll players in summer school. That meant tonight's game fell on the same weekend as Ohio's traditional North-South All-Star Game. Many feel this year's Big 33 Ohio squad isn't as deep as a result.

This is the last year of the contract with Ohio, and some are saying if Ohio can't improve its selection process, Big 33 officials will look to Maryland for an opponent.
