After a close win over Norwin last week, #18 Pittsburgh Central Catholic (7-0) returned to form in a 56-0 shutout win over Latrobe Friday night.
Running backs Andrew Taglianetti and Jeff Knox led the way on the ground. Knox carreid the ball 15 times for 108 yards and two scores. Taglianetti scored three times, once 62 yards with a block field goal attempt, and then twice on offense on runs of 33 and 25 yards.
It was the Vikings first shutout of the season.

Who cares that Central Catholic demolished an inferior foe? Why don't you write about CB South being down 14-0 at the half and coming back to beat Neshaminy 26-21? This could set up perhaps the best game in early November - and presage the District 1 champion - if both North Penn and CB South are undefeated for their finale on November 2.
