Pennsylvania High School Football Rankings

Calm fell over the state's top three classes in the lastest Harrisburg Patriot-News High School Football Rankings. There were very few changes, however, Class A continues to be topsy-turvy with a new #1, which is actually an old #1.

Clairton moves back into the top spot with a 26-0 win over former #10 Springdale. Last week's #1 Steelton-Highspire falls to #2 after being dominated by Class AA #8 Trinity 31-7. Former #2 Bloomsburg slips after losing its first game this year to Mt. Carmel 26-14. You may recall that Bloomsburg was the team that snapped pre-season #1 Southern Columbia's win streak earlier this year.

There now have been four changes at the top of the Class A poll this year with Southern Columbia, Clairton (twice) and Steel-High also serving in the top spot.
