Hopewell falls to honorable mention, while Blackhawk re-enters the poll at #7. Finally in 1A, Clairton is the second #1 team to go down this year. Clairton was beaten soundly by Warren JFK of Ohio.

I realize that no one has come up with a way to take the subjectivity out of high school football rankings, but come on. Gateway & McKeesport are ranked ahead of North Penn? Ridley plays against 3A schools and gets ranked ahead of Neshaminy?

It would be nice if someone would come up with a meta-rankings that included the Patriot-News, PFN, the PIAA computer rankings, and anything else that might be out there to come up with an overall ranking system that at least dampens our the subjectivity.
