I hate national polls!!
I won't say it again this year....however, I do know they're fun so I'm taking a look at the PrepNation.com Pre-Season Top 25 and regional polls this week.
If you want to check out the website's national poll, please click on our link for The High School Football Huddle, which has the entire rankings.
What I can tell you is only one PA team made the Top 25. Pittsburgh Central Catholic comes in at #15.
Now, not to start a war with the PCC fans, but that's what's wrong with these polls. The Vikings do have a very good team on paper, but why is it that these so-called national experts only ever put Pittsburgh Central Catholic in the pre-season polls. It's happened for four straight years.
Do a little homework guys! Pennsylvania's a big state with many programs deserving recognition.
Anyway...here's where the Keystone state teams rank in the PrepNation.com Pre-Season Northeast Region Top 25 Poll:
1. Pittsburgh Central Catholic
4. Liberty
9. Easton
10. Upper St. Clair
11. Ridley
15. North Allegheny
16. Bishop McDevitt
17. McKeesport
24. Downingtown West
25. Gateway
