Hopewell school officials are confirming that Rushel Shell, who is the WPIAL's all-time leading rusher, will hold a news conference in the morning to make a verbal commitment.
In the spring, Shell said that Alabama, Florida, North Carolina, Oregon and Pitt were his top choices.
The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette is reporting tonight that Shell is expected to follow in the footsteps of another great Hopewell running back, Tony Dorsett, and choose his hometown Pitt Panthers.
