Pennsylvania High School Football Huddle
Eleven years ago when I attended Tim Moncman's first two-a-day as the new head coach at Liberty High School, I knew he was the right man for the job of turning around the once-proud program that had fallen on hard times.
Now, school officials have a bigger problem...how to replace the man that has led the Hurricanes to a 62-9 record over the past five seasons, including winning a 4A state title and two state runner-up finishes during the stretch.
The Express-Times is reporting that Moncman has resigned to spend more time with him young family.
Moncman has a four-year old son, who is blind after being born with a degenerative eye disease called Leber's Congenital Amaurosis.
Best of luck to Tim, his wife and family!
