Week 7 in Pennsylvania and we'll get a good look at how good Gateway is. The Gators have picked-up plenty of national rankings pub over the last several years, but somewhere along-the-line, they seem to get tripped-up and never fulfill their potential.
Friday night, Gateway (6-0) will play only their second team with a winning record this year when the Gators take-on Erie McDowell (5-1). According to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, which has the Gators ranked #3 in the state in AAAA, this will probably be Gateway's only test until it plays McKeesport in Week 10.
Erie McDowell lost to McKeesport early this year on the road 16-14.
