Corky Blake of the Express-Times reports that Nazareth head football coach Rob Melosky has resigned.
Melosky, who took-over the program six years ago, led the Blue Eagles to a 42-29 mark. Nazareth's
best season under Melosky came in 2011 when the team went 12-2, winning
the District XI championship. Counting stops at Freedom and Parkland,
Melosky's lifetime record is 82-38, including a state AAAA at Parkland
in 2002.
Last season, the Blue Eagles finished 6-6.

North Hills Promotes Assistant to Head Coach

North Hills has promoted assistant head coach and defensive coordinator Pat Carey to the position of head coach, replacing Jack McCurry, who resigned last month after 35 seasons as the school's head coach.

Two PA teams in High School Football America National Top 25

Pennsylvania now has two teams in the High School Football America Top 25.
St. Joseph's Prep, on the strength of Saturday's 24-16 win over LaSalle, enters the poll at #24 this week. An estimated crowd of 8,000 watched as the Hawks handed LaSalle, ranked #1 in the state at gametime, its first loss of the season.
Meanwhile, out west, North Allegheny moved-up two spots to #18 after a 28-0 win over Pittsburgh Central Catholic.
